For more than 160 years, the Washington County Fair has been an integral part of the southern Utah community — ever since the early settlers of Washington City opened their homes to display agricultural products including livestock, corn, cotton, garden vegetables, homemade articles from county-grown cotton and wool, braided straw hats, and moccasins made from tanned deer skin. Even though the locations, entertainment and displays have changed throughout the years, one thing remains the same: the fair brings the community together.
We can all agree that 2020 was fraught with challenges and surprises. And although we had a county fair in 2020, we’re even more excited to bring joy, smiles and memories to our residents.
Our thanks to all of the people who are involved with the Fair, for the many hours and talents they contribute. Susi Lafaele, along with the Fair Board, have dedicated their time to ensure that the Washington County Fair is a continued success that can be enjoyed by all.
Please accept our invitation to bring families and guests and enjoy the Washington County Fair.
